At the Graduation Ceremony yesterday - during the speeches of the Valedictorian and the Salutatorian - you may have heard mention of this AMAZING fact... Both Tristan Leonard (salutatorian) and Xavier Catrell (valedictorian) received their Eagle Rank this past Saturday after successfully completing their Eagle Board of Review! Both started in the Shepherd Cub Scout Pack and moved into the Shepherd Boy Scout Troop. They continued their scouting careers in both the Alma Boy Scout Troop and the Alma Venturing Crew. Only about 4% of scouts earn the Eagle Scout Rank. We're so proud of their amazing accomplishments!

And this afternoon 117 members of the Class of 2024 graduated from Shepherd High School!!!

Mrs. Byrd's 4th grade class visited the wood shop today with Mr. Russell's Advanced woods class for round 2 of Build it with a BlueJay. Each student was paired up with a high school student to build a suet feeder kit. Thanks Mrs. Byrd and her students for coming out to the shop!
