The MS Robotics season is just starting for the 2022-2023 school year.

The MS Robotics Team is available for any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade Shepherd student.  We meet after school Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3 - 4:30pm in the Media Center - MakerSpace.  We will meet on some Saturdays as needed as well to accommodate those playing sports that already have after school commitments. MS Robotics is very much a STEM activity. Students design, build, and code a small robot that will fit inside an 18 inch box. The robot may expand after game play starts.  Game play is on a 12ft x 12ft playing field where there are 2 robots on a red alliance and 2 robots on a blue alliance.

The MS Robotics Season is from August to December. There is an option for some MS students, who show an aptitude to excel, to stick around and join the HS Robotics team to further their robotics skills. While they are not actually on the HS roster they are able to participated in the robot build and experience a taste of what the HS Robotics season is like.
