
The last day of school for the 2018-2019 school year will be Friday, June 7th. This is due to the state forgiving days that were declared a state of emergency by the Governor in January.

Important Dates for the 2019-2020 school year:
1st Day of School for students: August 26
Winter Break: Dec. 23 - Jan. 3
Spring Break: March 30 - April 3

The Shepherd High School Band performed beautifully today at the MSBOA state band festival @ Bay City Central HS.
Mrs. Gross and the HS Band were IMPRESSIVE!
Once they finished performing, they were fortunate to get very specific & timely feedback from the Michigan State University Band Director David Thornton.

Our Shepherd School Board and Superintendent volunteered this weekend making pancakes at the Maple Syrup Festival. Fun times by all as the weather was perfect!! Go Jays!!





Reminder: There is a half-day of school for students Monday, April 29. Dismissal will be at 11:00 a.m.

The boys golf team will makeup the TVC jamboree at Hemlock on Monday, May 13th at 2:00. Go Blue!

The varsity baseball team took two games from Coleman tonight. The Bluejays won the first game by a score of 11-0 and finished the night with a 10-5 victory. The boys are back in action on Tuesday when the travel to Standish-Sterling for a 4:00 doubleheader.

Mr. Travis Balzer nominated Mr. Joseph Passalacqua as Shepherd High School's High Flier for the month of April. Congratulations Mr. P.!!


Shepherd High School students and staff went out and assisted some local community members during our community clean up day!

The boys golf team had a good opening of TVC competition, shooting a 171 for 1st place by 9 strokes at the 6-team meet. Players who scored were Max Skeel with an even-par 36, Zach Bendele 41, Korrbin Gluch 46, and a PR 48 from Owen Morey.

Mrs. Gross and her SHS Band class was visited today by Mr. Matt Bishop, former Band Director at Grayling High School. We appreciate outside resources visiting so that we can continually improve our programs through collaboration and fun!! Go Jays!!
