The boys soccer team begins state tournament action on Wednesday, October 9th at 7:00 at Hemlock versus Hemlock. Go Blue!

Mr. Brock, SMS Principal, Mr. Brimmer, SPS Superintendent, and Chief Sawyer all greeted the 6th grade students to orientation this morning. This is a great class of students who are merging at SMS from Winn and SES. There’s no better time than now to be a Blue Jay!!

Congratulations to the boys soccer team for their 8-0. victory over Chippewa Hills tonight. They are back in action Tuesday when they travel to Clare for a 7 o’clock contest. Go Blue!

Still in need of a physical for the upcoming school year? Sweetwater medical facility is offering two more opportunities to get a sports physical for an extremely reasonable price. It is my pleasure to announce the Odyssey Graduating class of 2019! Our graduation ceremony will be held on May 30, 2019 at the SHS Auditorium at 6:00 PM. Feel free to join us after the ceremony for refreshments and an opportunity to congratulate our 19 outstanding graduates.

Congratulations to the Class of 2019 Shepherd Early College Graduates. Tonight's graduation is in conjunction with Mid Michigan College (MID). President Hammond (MID) spoke eloquently about our Early College program . She highlighted the strengths in our partnership. Congratulations to our graduates. #WeAreBLUEJAYStrong

The last day of school for the 2018-2019 school year will be Friday, June 7th. This is due to the state forgiving days that were declared a state of emergency by the Governor in January.

The Shepherd High School Band performed beautifully today at the MSBOA state band festival @ Bay City Central HS. Mrs. Gross and the HS Band were IMPRESSIVE! Once they finished performing, they were fortunate to get very specific & timely feedback from the Michigan State University Band Director David Thornton. #WeAreBLUEJAYStrong

Our Shepherd School Board and Superintendent volunteered this weekend making pancakes at the Maple Syrup Festival. Fun times by all as the weather was perfect!! Go Jays!!

Reminder: There is a half-day of school for students Monday, April 29. Dismissal will be at 11:00 a.m.

The boys golf team will makeup the TVC jamboree at Hemlock on Monday, May 13th at 2:00. Go Blue!

The varsity baseball team took two games from Coleman tonight. The Bluejays won the first game by a score of 11-0 and finished the night with a 10-5 victory. The boys are back in action on Tuesday when the travel to Standish-Sterling for a 4:00 doubleheader.

Mr. Travis Balzer nominated Mr. Joseph Passalacqua as Shepherd High School's High Flier for the month of April. Congratulations Mr. P.!!

Shepherd High School students and staff went out and assisted some local community members during our community clean up day! This was a HUGE success. Pictured is community member, Ruth Day showing off this hard working group of students and all that was accomplished! #WeAreBLEUJAYStrong
