August 2, 2021 Good morning Shepherd Public Schools Families and Friends. It seems a bit hard to believe we have reached the month of August already! What an incredible summer it's been though. With the first day of school (Monday, August 23rd) just three weeks away, we need to start paying close attention to the stipulations and newest information we receive from the CDC and other entities that govern COVID-19 matters. The hope is this image will appear large enough so persons are able to read that, "Wearing masks on school buses has been deemed mandatory by the Federal government." As this week unfolds and we creep ever-so closer to the start of school, any additional clarifying information will be available for our families. No matter what, let's continue to remember we are in this together and together we will figure things out and be just fine. Let's remain Bluejay Strong. Terry J. Starr Superintendent

All summer long our team from Project AWARE - Ms. Brogan Holmes, Ms. Alaina Sunken and Mr. Dave Gutierrez have been working hard to put together an INCREDIBLE start-of-the-year event titled a "BLUEJAY BASH." We also want to thank our friends from the Saginaw/Chippewa Tribe Ms. Judy Pamp, Ms. Kehli Henry and Ms. Christina Sharp for their help to make this a tremendous event!

Hats off to Coach Loonsfoot and the Bluejays Varsity Softball squad. Although they came away from their quarterfinals contest on the short end of a 9-0 game, they have TONS to be proud of ! What a great season and a fine playoff run that makes the entire community proud of their accomplishments!!
