National Administrative Professionals’ Day, also known as Secretaries Day or Admin Day, recognizes the professionals who keep an office running smoothly every day. We celebrate these professionals on the Wednesday of the last full week in April of each year, which happens to be TODAY, April 26, 2023! This day recognizes the work of secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists, and other administrative support professionals. Extremely VITAL to the success of our schools, these professionals keep our offices organized and efficient.
The day in the life of an administrative professional varies from moment to moment. While organization is key to their success, their flexibility and ability to handle the “unexpected” make them valuable to any school or business. Some of their responsibilities include managing appointments, creating messages or announcements, managing the needs of each and every child, helping parents find or get what they need, drying tears or listening to heartaches, directing building traffic, lending a hand wherever it’s needed and just about anything else imaginable that keeps our schools running smoothly.
We salute these wonderful people for their ongoing efforts to effectively and efficiently manage each of our schools and their inhabitants: Mrs. Lisa Alexander, Mrs. Beth Bryant, Mrs. Sheila Gall, Mrs. Dawn Harvey, Mrs. Holly Moeggenberg, Mrs. Kerry Quesnel, Mrs. Stacy Schutt, Mrs. Shannon Shukait Mrs. Pam Harnish, Mrs. Vicky Juhas, Mrs. Amanda Bigard and Mrs. Penny Travis. THANK YOU so much to this special group for their daily dedicated service to Shepherd Public Schools!
