Bond Investigation Guided Tours

  • Have you been wondering why Shepherd Public Schools is investigating a potential Bond proposal?  Would you like to learn more about the scope of certain maintenance and upkeep projects that are representing “significant costs” that are difficult for the district’s general fund to absorb?

On Tuesday evening, February 13th - starting at 6:30 p.m.  you can be led on a guided tour of Shepherd High School and Shepherd Middle School.  The context of this tour will be to point out certain projects that would lead to improved energy efficiency, safety and the overall well being of students in and throughout those two buildings that represent significant expenses.  These projects are surfacing - after gathering stakeholder input - as those that would be on the “must have” list.  If you wish to come, show up in the Media Center.  Your tour will end at or before 8:00 p.m.

Then, on Thursday, February 15th, starting at 6:30 p.m. there will be a tour of the Odyssey space and facilities.  If you wish to see the projects at this site that are being condensed down as “must haves,” come join the tour that will last from approximately 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Thanks for your attention to this information.  For further details, reach out to Superintendent Starr in the central office.
