Girls Basketball against Clare
7th grade won 46-8
8th grade lost 22-33
Come see the High School Theatre Class’s fall production of The House of Thrills and Chills! This spooky comedy takes you inside the aftermath of a haunted house where you’ll have to decide for yourself... are monsters, ghosts, and goblins [gulp] real? The performance is tomorrow at 7:00pm in the auditorium. open seating with a $5 suggested donation. You could donate $10 or $1, it doesn't matter, we just want you there!
Cooperation means working together, even when we have different perspectives. Being a R.E.A.L. Bluejay means showing respect by listening to others’ ideas and staying engaged, even when you don’t agree. Together, we can accomplish more when we value everyone’s voice and find common ground
BlueJays we have our veteran’s Day Assembly today. Remember to be R.E.A.L.— Respectful, Engaged, Accountable, and Leaders during the program.
Respectful — Show honor to our veterans and presenters by sitting quietly, listening, and keeping your attention forward.
Engaged — Focus on the message and reflect
Accountable — Follow directions, stay seated, and represent yourself and our school well.
Leaders — Be a role model. Set the example for how Shepherd BlueJays show gratitude and respect.
Be R.E.A.L. every day. And always know, we’re glad you’re here.”

SMS Announcements:
Next Week, Tuesday November 11th is Veteran's Day. Shepherd Middle School and High School will be putting on our annual Veteran's Day Assembly. All veterans are welcome to attend, so if you have a family member or friend you'd like to come to, please see Mr. TerBurgh in room 315 for an invitation. We hope to see your veterans there and I'll guarantee they will appreciate the invitation from you!
There is a parent/informational meeting for competitive cheer for middle school girls on Monday at 5:30 in the cafeteria. Anyone who is interested should come and get more information.
Congratulations to the Middle School Musical Cast and Crew on your performance of Kokonut Island yesterday! You all did the hardest part, performing in front of your peers, and you absolutely rocked it. With all that energy and confidence, tonight and tomorrow’s shows will be a walk in the park.
After School Reminder:Unless you have a practice, game, or another event happening right after school—or you’re under direct staff supervision—you must leave the building by 3:15 p.m. If your event starts later, you can return at the appropriate time.
Take a moment to think back on your week. What’s something you did to contribute to your team? Maybe you helped a classmate, stayed positive during group work, or encouraged a friend. Every small act of teamwork helps make our school stronger and shows what it means to be a R.E.A.L. BlueJay — Respectful, Engaged, Accountable, and a Leader.
