Dear Stakeholder, Shepherd Public Schools wants to communicate more effectively with our families and community. We need your help in understanding how we can better communicate information and through what platforms we use to communicate. Why We Need Your Help: We want to understand what is working well, identify areas for improvement, and explore new ways to keep you informed and involved in your student's education.  How We Will Use Your Answers: We will look at all the answers to see what we need to do better. Your answers will help us make our communication better for all families. How Much Time Will it Take: The survey has 20 questions and should take less than 5 minutes to complete.  Thank you for your time and help. https://forms.gle/DAxUJofB7s1qyzNt5

Our Shepherd students in Germany have been on the go! They helped in 7th grade English classes, allowing German students to practice their English. Tuesday and Wednesday were spent in Berlin, visiting Parliament and the Brandenburg Gate, including a bus tour around the city, touching the Berlin Wall, walking through a Holocaust memorial, and having an authentic Bavarian dinner. They visited the oldest building in Berlin, the Ghost Library memorial, a history museum, and shopped before taking the train home. These students are learning a lot in a short period of time!

German Exchange students have had a busy first three days! They toured their hosts' school (Gymnasiales Schulzentrum Fritz Reuter Dömitz); attended math, English, and German classes, with some even writing a poem in German; had a welcome picnic with our exchange families; had a student outing to Hamburg on the train; and had a sunny Sunday catching up on sleep, relaxing, and bowling. Tomorrow they head back to school and kick off a week of adventures!
