The Middle School Basketball games scheduled for today, February 12th, have been cancelled. No reschedule date has been chosen.
Middle School Basketball will not be practicing due to the impending weather.
Join us as we honor our Senior Boys Basketball players as they play one of their last games at Shepherd High School tomorrow (2/11) between the JV and Varsity Games. JV tips off at 6:00pm followed by the Varsity around 7:30pm.
The Freshman Boys Basketball picked up a game this Tuesday February 11th at Eaton Rapids with a tip-off of 4:00pm.
Congratulations to the BLUEJAY Wrestlers who punched their ticket yesterday to Regionals next week at Hart High School. Micah Curtiss and Martine Wiggins were both District Champions with Allen Groeneveld and Seth Saxton both finishing fourth as well to qualify.
We would also like to send a HUGE Shout out to the parents for all of your help to make these events successful. Shepherd hosted 4 large wrestling events this year and this wouldn't be possible without the hard work and support of the team, coaches and especially the parents.
Shepherd would like to welcome Coach Jay Dearing as the new Boys Varsity Golf Coach. Jay is currently the Girls Varsity Golf Coach as well and we are excited to have him taking over the Boys team as well.

Come out and support the Shepherd Hockey players as their team takes the ice on January 31st at Martin Ice Arena in Mt. Pleasant. The puck will drop at 7:15pm. This game is also their Cancer Awareness game.
With temperatures trending up instead of down we will be having Varsity Events and practices as scheduled. Girls Basketball will be home vs. Clare at 6:00 and 7:30pm while Wrestling heads on the rod to Standish-Sterling Central.
School is cancelled for Tuesday January 21st including all Athletics practices and events. We are working on a reschedule date for the Boys Basketball games at Clare.
The Freshman Basketball game scheduled for tonight (1/14) at Montabella has been cancelled with no make-up date at this time.
All Varsity evening activities are on as scheduled. Varsity practices will also be taking place but your coaches will communicate with the teams on times.
Shepherd Schools will be closed for Monday, January 13, 2025. All Sub-Varsity practices for today are cancelled. We will be re-evaluating the roads around noon today to make a decision on the Evening events and Varsity practices.
Shepherd Schools will be on a two-hour delay for Monday, January 13, 2025. As of now all Athletics practices before school tomorrow are cancelled but all Athletic Events after school will be on as scheduled.

7th and 8th Grade Boys Basketball tryouts begin Monday January 6th in the MS Gym.
8th Grade will be in the MS Gym 3:15-5:15pm
7th Grade will be in the MS Gym 5:15-7:15pm
Coaches will update practice times after week 1.
Please make sure your physicals are uploaded to FinalForms before practices start as they cannot participate without it.
