Extended Day is a program designed for high school students who are in need of recovering course credits. To meet their goals, these students utilize an online learning tool called PLATO. PLATO courses are online classes: courses completed on the computer via the Internet. These courses are self-paced learning endeavors designed to ensure the student’s mastery of subject material. Students receive 0.5 credits for every course completed. The self-paced nature of the program does not mean students are alone on the road to meet their goals. Extended Day is supervised by staff to ensure that students are supported through their journey toward graduation.

This program is available to students who are under 22 by Sept 1 of the current school year and past their anticipated graduation year. PLATO courses can be worked on at home, however all tests must be taken and supervised at school.

Odyssey is open 12-6p Monday - Thursday for Extended Day students to come in for support, assistance, test-taking, or just a space to work!
